Beautiful Blue Kitchen in Lansing

This Lansing, MI home underwent a complete transformation that involved changing the layout, creating a more cohesive traffic flow, and making the kitchen and dining room more open and connected. We did this by removing an existing wall between the kitchen and dining room, removing a wall behind the existing range, relocating the half bath to the existing laundry area to make it a full bath, and relocating the laundry room to a small closet area.

The inspiration for the design finishes was the new Mohawk luxury vinyl tile Bassett flooring. Diamond Vibe cabinetry with a partial overlay door in maple is a striking design element in Maritime Blue painted finish, paired with SSU quartz countertops in Onyx White. The cabinets incorporate amazing storage accessories, including three-inch wide spice pullouts on either side of the range, rollout trays, stationary shelves in a tall cabinet next to the fridge, a tray divider cabinet, a diagonal utensil tray, and a trash pull-out cabinet. The result is a kitchen design that is as organized and functional as it is stylish.
