KITCHENS

Kitchen Design in Okemos MI

This Okemos kitchen design combines texture, color, and beautiful materials to create a warm, eclectic space. This one-of-a-kind design was inspired by a favorite piece of artwork, the Guatemalan corn paintings hanging in the kitchen. Based on this theme, the kitchen design incorporates white upper cabinets with warm wood base cabinets from Medallion Cabinetry, accented by a granite countertop, Virginia Tile yellow subway tile backsplash, and Top Knobs textured hardware. The large kitchen island includes Great American Spaces ship lap, which is echoed in the adjacent banquette breakfast area. A unique ceiling mounted chimney hood hangs over the island. An adjacent mudroom includes a bootbench and ample storage for a busy family.

We've had such a great experience with McDaniels. Right at the start of the project, Julie Johnson was there to guide us. They had everything we needed from cabinets, flooring, counter tops, and appliances. Plus they work side by side with Granite Construction. All we had to do was make decisions on colors, finishes, etc. I highly recommend McDaniels.

Loved the design and the end result of our bathroom remodel!

Wrapping up our second project with McDaniels and Granite Construction. We are always impressed with the team of professionals assembled and the process of putting all the logistics in place to take a major remodel project from start to finish!
