Our 2025 Partners in Design event series got off to an amazing start with a visit from Jeremy Helton of Lansing Clothing Company. These events have become a much-anticipated highlight of our calendar at McDaniels Kitchen and Bath. With a new event featuring a different design partner each month, there is always something new to learn and enjoy!
Partners in Design
We love the opportunity to host Partners in Design in our Lansing, MI showroom, where we get to meet representatives of various local businesses and voluntary organizations. Our design partners share their background, how they got to where they are today, and their expertise. They tell us about their business, how it serves the local community, and their products, services, or voluntary services. Each month brings a new design partner with a unique insight into what makes our corner of the world so special. It is also a wonderful opportunity to learn about businesses and organizations you may not have heard about before!
January Partners in Design with Lansing Clothing Company
Jeremy Helton of Lansing Clothing Company joined us in January to tell us all about this independent clothing company inspired by the City of Lansing, Michigan. Their business is located in REO Town on Washington Avenue here in Lansing, and the carry a range of merchandise including clothing for men and women, accessories, and giftware, all with a Lansing theme so you can show your love for our home town.
What Happened at Our January Event
Jeremy inspired us with his vision, talent, attention to detail, and commitment to hometown pride for Lansing. He told us all about his business journey and his vision for Lansing Clothing Company. He even plans to expand to other cities within Michigan! We learned all about the process he uses to create t-shirts, mugs, stickers, puzzles, key chains, and more. He has included some iconic Lansing landmarks in his work, letting people find products that connect them to where they live, work, and play.
His attention to detail and quality in every product differentiate his business, as does his creativity. He is always thinking of new ideas and designing new products! Jeremy even brought along his mom, Judy, who had wonderful comments about him and his drive for creativity.
A Sneak Peak at Our Next Partners in Design Event
Craig Fischer from HMK Landscaping will join us at our next Partners in Design event. It will be held on February 18, 2025, from 3 – 4:00 pm in our Lansing, MI showroom. HMK Landscaping of Lansing, MI was founded in 2008 with a team of dedicated landscape artists serving the mid-Michigan area. They offer landscaping for commercial and residential clients and are proud members of the Michigan Nursery and Landscaping Association. We can’t wait to hear all about their business and to get inspired for our own homes’ landscaping!
