Partners in Design: Danielle Mayes of Amayesing Graze
By McDaniels Kitchens and Bath|Events
We continued our popular monthly event series in August with Danielle Mayes of Amayesing Graze. At our Partners in Design series, we welcome a local partner every month to our Lansing, MI showroom for a fun and educational event. Each design partner shares their story as a local entrepreneur, tells us about their business, and shares their expertise. We were very lucky to have Danielle return this month, having previously joined us in June 2022.
Danielle is the founder and owner of Amayesing Graze. Her love for the art of charcuterie stemmed from hosting her own dinner parties and creating beautiful and delicious displays for her own events. Her world travels also fostered an appreciation of a wide variety of foods and art, which influenced her culinary displays.
This Mid-Michigan licensed, fully insured catering company specializes in charcuterie and cheese grazing boards, providing fresh, elegant, locally sourced ingredients arranged into a stylish, abundant showcase. Her upscale catering company creates visually stimulating charcuterie and cheese grazing boards using fresh and locally sourced ingredients. These elegant displays will transform any event, giving it the “wow” factor you want to amaze your guests!
Our August 2023 event saw a record number of guests in attendance at one of our Partners in Design events, and the participants were not disappointed! At this event, Danielle made mini cups that included cheese, pickles, tomato and mozzarella balls, chocolate, and salami and demonstrated to us how to make them. The participants also learned where to shop for the ingredients, when to make them, and how best to store them. It was a fun and delicious event where we gained practical knowledge and got to sample the amazing results!
Here is a sneak peek at next month’s Partners in Design event:
In September, we will welcome Lolie Fabela and Buddy the dog from Buddy’s PALS (Pet Assisted Learning). Buddy and owner Lolie founded this amazing organization in 2019 in DeWitt, MI, with the mission of supporting the education of young people in the local community. Since its founding, Buddy’s PALS now has over 40 handler teams in the Greater Lansing area that volunteer in schools, libraries, and other organizations.
Their goal is to offer comfort in classrooms and other educational environments with their highly trained and certified dog/handler teams. The teams volunteer in settings ranging from K–12 schools to colleges and universities, libraries, and other organizations. Don’t miss this opportunity to meet Buddy and Lolie and learn more about Buddy’s PALS!
