We continued our 2025 Partners in Design this month with a visit from Craig Fisher and Rusty Naimo of HMK Landscaping. Our monthly Partners in Design events are an important part of our events calendar with a new design partner welcomed to our Lansing, MI showroom each month.
What is Partners in Design?
Our Partners in Design events series allows us to host local businesses and organizations in our Lansing, MI showroom. Each design partner joins us to share their expertise, products and services, and their inspiring story as a local entrepreneur. With a different design partner joining us each month, there is always something new to learn! Our design partners offer a unique insight into their area of expertise, and also help us to discover the products, services, and volunteer opportunities that make our corner of the world so amazing.
Our February Design Partner: HMK Landscaping
HMK Landscaping of Lansing, MI was founded in 2008 with a team of dedicated landscape artists serving the mid-Michigan area. They offer landscaping for commercial and residential clients and are proud members of the Michigan Nursery and Landscaping Association. They joined us to present a slide show of their projects to inspire participants’ own landscaping plans, plus shared information about the benefits of landscaping, and their client process. They also told us about seasonal changes for plants.
What Happened At Our February Event?
Craig and Rusty joined is in our Lansing, MI showroom to share their expertise and insights, with an informative presentation, inspiring photos, and an interactive question and answer. Craig provided amazing photos of their projects, plus an interesting explanation of landscaping and how they create their designs. Rusty explained the maintenance process and how to keep up with everything from weeds to fertilizer. He also helped us to understand that sometimes this care and maintenance is a little more involved that what we think and it helps to be prepared. Like McDaniels, HMK Landscaping believes in providing full details of every project and focuses not only on the end result but also the customer experience from start to finish.

Sarah from Katalyst Art Gallery and Boutique will be here with some of her new fashions, hats, and fascinators for Easter! We are really excited to have her join us for a second time, and this time the focus of her presentation is on clothes! Mark your calendars and join us in our Lansing, MI showroom on March 18th from 3 – 4:00 pm.
