Our popular Partners in Design series continued in April with an educational and engaging visit from Cynthia Grostick of the Genealogical Speaker’s Guild. We host these monthly events in our Lansing, MI showroom, and welcome a wide variety of design partners to share their expertise, knowledge, and experience with our participants. These monthly events are a highlight of our calendar at McDaniels, enjoyed by our team, friends, and the wider community. Partners in Design allows us to explore the wide range of amazing businesses and organizations or community has to offer, and we always learn something new about our local area!

All About Partners in Design

We have been hosting this event series for the past several years, and it has become a highlight for the McDaniels team and the local community. Partners in Design has allowed us to gain unique insights into everything our community has to offer. Our region has amazing businesses and organizations offering unique products and services, ranging from food establishments to gift shops, clothing stores, art galleries, and volunteer organizations.

Participants are treated to a fun and educational presentation, giving them insights into their business journey, products, and services. They often bring samples of their products to show to participants or to share, especially in the case of food products! Sometimes they even offer a range of their products for sale during the event.

Here’s What Happened at Our April Event

We were very lucky to have Cynthia join us to present a topic from one of her specialty lectures: “Uncle Sam Wants You, Researching your World War I and World War II Ancestors”. Everyone enjoyed this fascinating presentation, and Cynthia said she would love to do it again!
